About Harper Sports Cars
Harper Sports Cars was born from a childhood obsession, a life spent behind the wheel, and an unshakable belief that driving should feel alive. At just 7 years old, in Bulawayo Zimbabwe, Craig Harper discovered the thrill of vehicle control. By 19, he had designed and built his first race car, the Harper Type 1 testing it, racing it, and proving it on the track. That early determination carried him from local Club Champion all the way to becoming a National Rally Champion and, ultimately, a world-class car designer and engineer.
In Botswana in 2004, Craig pursued a radical idea: create a road-legal race car that behaves with complete composure at legal street speeds yet comes alive at the limit on the track. The result was a lineage of South African designed performance cars that deliver purity, balance, and a visceral driving connection unmatched by mass produced vehicles.
Today, Harper Sports Cars has grown into a boutique performance brand offering precision engineering, custom builds, special vehicle development, and restoration yet the heart of the company remains unchanged. Every Harper vehicle is shaped by the belief that beautiful design means nothing if the driving experience isn’t extraordinary.

MegaSnake is an emotional reinterpretation of the classic Cobra, shaped by the same philosophy that defined the Harper Type 6. It honours an iconic silhouette while completely reimagining how it drives. Built on a modern lightweight chassis with contemporary suspension and geometry, MegaSnake delivers balance, composure, and connection at every speed. It is not a replica of the past, but reimagination born from decades of racing, engineering, and an unwavering belief that beautiful design only matters when the driving experience is extraordinary.
